Pink is on top of the charts with the new album "The Truth About Love". This album set a record in the career of a rock singer.

"The Truth About Love" is Pink's first studio album since 2008. The singer claims that in the new songs she is the same as before - the "angry girl", but admits that she gives fans the opportunity to look at her differently - from a more kind and vulnerable side.

Pink's family circumstances changed her outlook on life: reconciliation with her husband Carey Hart and the birth of their daughter Willow a year later.

The recording of "The Truth About Love" was attended by several other musicians, including rapper Eminem, British pop singer Lily Allen and Nate Ruess.

Pink is a co-author of each of the 13 tracks on the album, including her single “Blow Me (One Last Kiss)”, which entered the top five hits on Billboard Hot.

The album sold over 280,000 copies in the first week of release alone, making it the fourth best-selling album of 2012. According to Nielsen SoundScan, Justin Bieber, Madonna and Mumford & Sons achieved the best results this year.

Pink replied to this news on Twitter: “After 13 years and six albums, I deserved to be number one in the USA. I am grateful for all the listeners for all ears and all hearts. Thanks you! "

The 33-year-old singer recently announced that she is going on her first U.S. tour in four years in February next year. On tour, the young mother will take with her a 15-month-old daughter. She is looking forward to showing the world to baby.
