Researchers from the UK have established a curious fact: it turns out that a third of people in 70 years have sex at least twice a month. Seven thousand older Britons were surveyed. 54% of men and 31% of women said they are still sexually active.
A survey of volunteers showed that older women noted a lack of sexual arousal. Such a decrease in libido saddens up a third of the respondents, who nevertheless do not deny themselves love joys. 39% of pensioners complain of obvious erectile dysfunction, and 27% - problems with achieving orgasm.
The study showed that many people who have stepped over the 70-year-old frontier continue to experience sexual attraction to their partners, practicing not only kisses, but also petting. And only 1% of men and 10% of women admitted that they enter into sexual relations solely out of a sense of duty.
