According to scientists, women are much more likely to suffer from men from various allergic reactions. Moreover, in case of allergies, women are prone to an anaphylactic reaction, in which edema occurs, which causes difficulty breathing and, in some cases, a heart attack.

American scientists conducted an experiment on mice and noticed that one of the female hormones estradiol increases the activity of the enzyme that causes allergies. He influenced the functioning of the blood vessels. The blockage of the allergy compound only blunted the development of the reactions, making them less strong. The same has been observed with the relief of estrogen.

Scientists plan to continue research aimed at studying the effect of estrogen on provoking allergic reactions.
