American scientists in the course of development made an amazing discovery: they managed to reproduce the yeast chromosome under laboratory conditions, which in the future could contribute to the development of not only new drugs, but also the creation of biofuels and new nutrients.

It should be noted that the discovery, to which the experts went for seven years, was a breakthrough in biology, because until now scientists have not been able to create even chromosomes with a simpler structure, such as, for example, the chromosomes of bacteria.

The artificially-produced chromosome was “implanted” into the cells of the brewer's yeast, which “perceived” it is normal. Despite the fact that scientists have made more than fifty thousand manipulations, the yeast remained alive.
