Increasingly, housewives prefer home-made white bread. There are many recipes for such baking. The bread is kneaded in milk, yogurt, sour cream or plain water, but in any case it turns out incredibly tasty.

White bread in the oven - the basic principles of cooking

To make classic white bread you will need flour, yeast, salt and water. Of the listed ingredients, knead the dough, let it come up and bake. The basis of white bread is premium wheat flour. Replacing certain products, you can get a new taste of baking. So, water can be replaced with milk, kefir or yogurt, and yeast can be replaced with leaven. Eggs, vegetable or cream fat, spices, etc. are added to the dough.

Particular attention should be paid to yeast. How good the baking will turn out depends on their quality. It is better to use a live product, but if you could not buy one, you can use dry yeast.

Knead the dough exclusively with your hands, even if you used a food processor for this, at the end you still need to knead it yourself for two to three minutes. It is placed in a deep container and left to rise in heat for a couple of hours. Then you need to knead the dough a couple of times, but you need to do this with light movements, just letting air out of it, if you knead, the bread will not turn out lush.

Round or square bread is formed from the finished dough, left for proofing, and then baked for an hour.

Today many housewives use bread machines for kneading and baking. Of course, this is convenient, but manually kneaded bread is much tastier.

Recipe 1. White bread in the oven

Ingredients

a pound of flour;

bag of dry active yeast;

table salt - 10 g;

350 ml of purified water.

Cooking method

Dissolve the yeast in a small part of warm water, pour in the rest of the water and salt. Sift flour into a bowl through a fine sieve. In the center we make a deepening and pour water with yeast into it. Gradually collect the flour in a liquid mixture and knead the dough. We spread it on the table and continue to knead it until the dough becomes smooth and homogeneous. Do not sprinkle flour!

Now sprinkle the table with flour and form a ball from the dough, wrapping the edges to the center. Then we turn it over and bend the edges. We coat the bowl with vegetable oil and place the dough in it. We put in a warm place for an hour and a half, covering with a towel

We shift the dough, having previously washed it, in a form or on a baking sheet, leave it for proofing. When it rises enough, we send the oven to 180 C, heating it to 180 C. We bake for forty minutes.

Recipe 2. White bread with semolina

Ingredients

250 ml of serum;

50 g semolina;

50 ml lean oil;

50 g of white sugar;

20 g sesame;

5 g of instant yeast;

one and a half stack. premium flour;

5 g of salt.

Cooking method

We heat the serum. Dissolve yeast, salt and white sugar in it.

Pour sesame seeds and semolina. Stir. Sift flour twice through a fine sieve. Pour it in small portions into the semolina mixture and stir. Continue to knead by pouring oil until the dough acquires a uniform smooth consistency. We leave the ball of dough warm for several hours, covering it with a kitchen towel.

We knead the dough and put it in a greased form with butter. Top with flour and leave for proofing for 20 minutes.

We send the form into the oven, after turning it on, at 180 C. We check the readiness of baking with a wooden stick.

Recipe 3. White bread in milk

Ingredients

650 g of flour;

10 g sesame;

50 g butter;

two eggs;

milk - 150 ml;

5 ml of vegetable oil;

150 ml of purified water;

10 g of active dry yeast;

table salt - two pinches.

Cooking method

We put cream fat in milk and slightly warm it. Pour yeast, stir and leave for half an hour so that they "wake up".

Sift the flour twice through a fine sieve, combine with the rest of the dry ingredients, except for sesame seeds and mix. Pour the dry mixture into the dough, pour the vegetable oil and add the beaten egg. Knead a thick, supple dough and leave for several hours in a warm place, covering with a towel. We’ll exchange a couple of times.

From the finished dough we form round bread, put it on a baking sheet, sprinkle with sesame seeds and leave for half an hour to make the dough come up. We send the bread for forty minutes in the oven. Bake at 190 degrees.

Recipe 4. White bread on yogurt curd "Night"

Ingredients

high-speed yeast - a bag;

550 g of wheat flour;

5 g of table salt;

400 ml yogurt.

Cooking method

Sift flour through a fine sieve. Combine it with yogurt, salt and yeast. Knead the dough. It will stick slightly to the palms. We collect it in a ball and place it in a bowl greased with vegetable oil. We leave for the night, tightening the bowl with plastic wrap.

Lightly crush the working surface with flour, shift the dough onto it and slightly crush. Putting the edges to the center, forming a ball. We grease the bowl with lean oil, cover and leave for forty minutes.

After the allotted time, carefully turn over the bowl with the dough for the baking sheet covered with parchment.

We heat the oven to 220 C. Put a baking sheet in it and bake bread for a quarter of an hour. Then reduce the temperature to 180 C and bake for another half hour. We shift the finished bread to the wire rack, cover with a clean cloth and cool.

Recipe 5. White bread in the oven with cheese

Ingredients

50 g Parmesan;

7 g of dry yeast;

thyme - twig;

wheat flour - 270 g;

50 ml of olive oil;

a glass of warm drinking water;

two pinches of salt.

Cooking method

Pour the yeast with warm water and stir. Sift the flour three times in a separate bowl. Combine it with olive oil, salt, finely grated Parmesan cheese and chopped thyme sprig. Stir well.

Pour yeast diluted in water into the dry mixture and knead the dough. We tighten the bowl with foil and leave the dough for the night.

We divide the dough into three parts. We form the rectangles. We stretch each part on a cutting board, take the ends and put them in the center. The procedure is repeated three times. We spread it on a baking sheet, previously covering it with parchment and greasing it with oil. Leave for a couple of hours.

We turn on the oven at 250 C. Put the dishes with boiling water on the bottom. At the middle level we place a baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes. Put the finished bread on a wire rack, cover and cool.

Recipe 6. White bread with cracklings

Ingredients

half a glass of milk;

7 g of yeast;

salt;

egg yolk;

a pinch of sugar;

wheat flour;

30 ml of vegetable oil;

30 g undercuts or bacon.

Cooking method

We dissolve yeast, granulated sugar and salt in warm milk. Add a little flour and knead the dough. Leave warm until yeast is activated.

Cut the undercooking or bacon into small pieces and fry in a preheated pan to the state of cracklings. Cool and add them to the dough. Pour the vegetable oil and gradually introduce the sifted flour. Knead not liquid, but not cool dough.

We coat the form with oil. We spread the dough into it and leave for a couple of hours to approach. Grease the top of the bread with egg yolk.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. We put in it a form with the test and bake until cooked. Check with a toothpick or wooden stick.

Recipe 7. White bread with chickpeas and wild leek

Ingredients

700 g of wheat flour;

bunch of dill and parsley;

sour milk - 250 ml;

40 ml of vegetable oil;

150 g wild garlic;

warm filtered water - half a glass .;

chickpeas - 200 g;

pressed yeast - 20 g;

two pinches of table salt;

50 g of white sugar.

Cooking method

My chickpeas and soaked for a day. Then wash it again and boil until soft. Cool down.

Pour warm water into a bowl, add yeast, 100 g flour and sugar. Stir and leave the dough to fit. As soon as the dough is raised with a hat, salt and, gradually adding the remaining sifted flour, knead the dough.

We wash the wild garlic, finely chop and send it to the dough. Here we put chickpeas and pour oil. Stir and leave warm. When the dough rises, add chopped greens. Stir.

We spread the dough in an oil form. Cover it and leave for proofing. We preheat the oven to 180 C. Put it in a mold and bake for an hour.

White bread in the oven - tips and tricks

Use only high quality flour for bread. Be sure to sift it through a fine sieve at least twice to saturate it with oxygen.

Dissolve yeast only in a warm liquid, in no case in boiling water, otherwise they will die.

You can sprinkle bread with sesame seeds, sunflower seeds or poppy seeds.

To keep the crust of bread soft, sprinkle hot pastries with water, cover with a towel and cool.
