Salad is not always the end of a meal or a complement to it. Sometimes a salad can melt with a full snack or even dinner. For example, a herring salad under a fur coat or olivier, is quite suitable for dinner. However, like other salads, where the composition contains potatoes. In addition, potatoes go well with other products - meat, mushrooms, pickles. That’s why we suggest you try a simple but very tasty potato salad without meat.

Instead of meat, we will have fried mushrooms (you can take pickled ones). In the winter, we suggest you take pickled or barrel cucumbers, but in the summer, when fresh cucumbers can be bought at every corner, be sure to prepare such a salad with them.

Ingredients:

Boiled potatoes - 3 pcs.;

Champignon mushrooms - 400 g;

Pickles - 4 pcs.;

Green peas, frozen - 200 g;

Onion - 1 pc.;

Mustard seeds - 2 tbsp. l .;

Mayonnaise - 60 g.

Mushrooms for salad are not cut into small cubes and fry in vegetable oil.

Salad onions are best pickled so that it does not spoil the salad with its specific taste. It is easy to do. Dice the onion. Pour boiling water over it and add 1 tbsp. l vinegar and 1 teaspoon of sugar. After 10 minutes, drain the water. During this time, all the bitterness from the onion will go away, and the onion will remain crispy.

Boil a frozen green pot for 10 minutes.

Then drain the water and leave the peas in a colander so that it stacks.

Boil potatoes or bake for salad. We clean and cut it into cubes.

Add the fried mushrooms to the potato.

Cucumbers are also cut into cubes. Add cucumbers and peas to the salad bowl.

Dress salad with mayonnaise and grain mustard. Also, this salad can be seasoned with vegetable oil with a little balsamic vinegar. So try different salad dressing options to see what you like best.

Put the finished salad in bowls and serve for dinner as an independent dish. The salad is hearty and tasty.
