The year is approaching. Dogs and all the shops in abundance offer us these lovely, funny and cheerful friends, in very different designs. Ceramic dogs, candles, magnets, toys ... Just do not count.
And I want to do something of my own, something unique.
I propose to please my loved ones with a wonderful New Year card with a picture of a terrier.
In half an hour you will create not only a gift, but also lighten your mood.
And what a pleasure to give gifts made by yourself!
This will be especially welcome for the children. After all, creating something new, they are developing!
Materials necessary for work:
• cardboard
• wrapping paper
• terrier pattern
• jeans (a small piece)
• pins
• sequins, decorations (snowflakes)
• bright tape (for a leash)
• scissors
• glue
• glue gun
• felt (white, black)
• jute cord (several segments)
I would like to draw your attention to the fact that using a glue gun is better under the supervision of adults. You can replace it with a good glue - a pencil.
1. So, you decided to make a card.
You can certainly purchase a blank for a postcard, but since this workshop is focused on children, we use cardboard.
Take a sheet of white cardboard and fold it in half - this will be the blank. Inside you can write a congratulation, but we will create the title part!
I propose to cut a smaller rectangle from wrapping paper. It is a natural color and will look very elegant. Glue the rectangle onto the cardboard, slightly stepping back from the edges.
2. In the right corner with a simple pencil you need to outline the Christmas tree. Then apply glue and glue the green sequins so as to hide the lines of the pencil. Decorate the crown of the tree.
3. Prepare a dog template. Draw a silhouette of the terrier and find a suitable piece of dark denim.
4. Combine the pattern and the piece of fabric and chop it with pins. Pins will help to carefully cut the dog.
5. Here is a detail of the terrier turned out.
6. Now you need to identify the surface line. To do this, take several segments of a jute cord of the same length. Using a glue gun, you need to apply glue and carefully secure the cord under the Christmas tree.
7. This is how the line of the track will look.
8. We place the detail of the terrier on a postcard. Cut off a piece of bright ribbon or tape for a collar.
9. Carefully apply glue to the areas of the jeans part using a glue gun. At the same time we fix the collar.
10. Cut a small eye out of white felt. From black felt we make a nose. Glue the details on the face.
11. Felt-tip pen draw a pupil. The terrier is ready! He turned out so curious - reaching for the Christmas tree!
It remains to decorate the background with snowflakes. Finished snowflakes need to be glued. You can put white dots with a cotton swab, for kids such an activity will be not only interesting, but also useful!
