50 gr raisins;

1. Having washed the oranges, scald one of them with boiling water and rub the zest on a fine grater, also squeeze the juice from it. After clearing, we divide another orange into slices and set aside.

2. Put the grated zest with orange juice, oatmeal and milk into the pan, then cook the porridge over low heat, stirring constantly. Add raisins and honey to the finished porridge, then lay it in deep serving saucers, decorating each serving with slices of orange.

Recipe 3: Oatmeal from Whole Oatmeal

The most healthy oatmeal porridge is one made from whole grains. It is in it that there are most of all those useful elements for which we value oatmeal. Having spent a little more time cooking it than using oatmeal, we get an extremely nutritious and healthy dish.

Ingredients:

1 cup whole oatmeal;
0.4 l of milk;
3 tbsp. l Sahara;
to taste salt and butter.

Cooking method:

1. After rinsing the cereal, fill it with water for about 5 hours.

2. After washing it again and pouring 3 cups of cold water into the saucepan, add oatmeal there. Then put the saucepan on low heat and cook for about 40 minutes.

3. After that, adding milk with sugar and a pinch of salt, cook the porridge until thickened.

4. Then, transferring the porridge to a cauldron or clay pot, put in a preheated oven and cook for about 1 hour.

5. We put the finished porridge on plates and, putting in each piece of butter, serve on the table.

When choosing cereals for cooking oatmeal, you should pay attention to the name that is indicated on the package (“Hercules” or “Extra”). Among Extra oat flakes, there are three varieties that differ in the degree of processing of flakes.

Extra 3 oatmeal is the most tender, they are good for people with a sensitive stomach, and for children. These flakes have a fine structure, which is achieved by careful steam treatment. Such flakes can not even be boiled, but simply pour them with boiling water or boiled milk and insist for some time.

Extra 2 oatmeal is produced from chopped cereals. They also have a fine structure, so porridge from this variety of flakes can be cooked in 10 minutes.
