Chicken with pumpkin in the oven - the basic principles of cooking

For cooking, you can use any part of the chicken or even the whole carcass. The meat is washed and cut into portions. If fillet is used, it is crushed in small pieces. You can bake whole breasts.

The pumpkin is peeled and seeds with fibers are selected. Then the vegetable is cut into arbitrary pieces. In addition to pumpkin, you will need onions and garlic. They are peeled. Chop onion into thin half rings, and garlic into thin slices.

Pieces of chicken are mixed with marinade or spices and left for an hour. You can also pickle vegetables.

Then vegetables are laid out in a greased form, pieces of chicken are laid out on top. Bake for 45 minutes at 180 C.

Before baking, the dish can be poured with cream or sour cream sauce.

Ingredients

3. Wash the chicken, dry it with napkins and remove the skin from it. Put the meat in a bowl and add mustard seeds, half barberry, dried garlic, ground black and allspice, ginger and turmeric to it. Mix with your hands so that the spices are evenly distributed over all pieces of meat. Pour lemon juice on top and leave to marinate in the refrigerator for half an hour.

4. Peel the garlic. Put the pumpkin cubes into a deep form, add sour cream to it, season with black pepper and turmeric, pour water and squeeze the garlic through a press. Stir and place in the oven for half an hour. Bake at 180 C.

5. Rinse and chop the parsley. Take out the shape with the pumpkin, lay the pickled chicken with the marinade on top. Sprinkle with half the parsley and mix. Return to the oven for forty minutes. Then cover the mold with foil and leave for another ten minutes.

Recipe 2. Chicken with pumpkin in the oven with apples

Ingredients

three large chicken thighs;

half a glass of purified water;

one and a half kilograms of pumpkin pulp;

salt;

large onion head;

two green apples.

Cooking method

1. Cut the peel from the pumpkin, peel the seeds. Crush the flesh into cubes the size of two centimeters. Fold the pumpkin into a deep baking dish.

2. Peel the apples, cut the seed boxes. Grind the fruit pulp in small cubes. Throw apples on top of pumpkins.

Ingredients

200 g chicken;

sea ​​salt;

200 g of pumpkin pulp;

hops-suneli;

200 g of Dor Blue cheese;

50 ml olive oil.

Cooking method

1. Wash the chicken fillet, dry it with a paper towel and cut into medium pieces. We spread the meat in a bowl, salt and season the hops-suneli. Mix and leave for 20 minutes.
