Oxfords

Oxford is often referred to as all "men's" shoes in the women's wardrobe. This is a little wrong. These oxfords are similar to the shoes that men wear with a business suit: they are made of smooth leather, have a tapered toe and hidden lacing. Although there are deviations from the canons. For example, in this spring oxfords of pastel shades are in fashion.

Derby

The derby, unlike oxfords, has a more casual look. Suppose a wide sock, rough leather or suede, contrasting sole. The trend of spring and summer 2014 is the sole and laces of bright, saturated colors: blue, green, yellow.

Brogues

Low speed shoes with laces and perforations are called brogues. Their characteristic feature is a cut of several pieces, which can be of different colors, and a detachable figured toe. An interesting novelty of this spring is the brogues, in which there seem to be a lack of separate parts: in such a model it will not be hot.

Loafers

Unlike previous models, loafers (from the English. Loafer - slacker) do not have laces, but there is a heel and a thick sole. Their top is almost always decorated with a brush, bow or perforated strip of leather. Women's loafers often have a high, steady heel.

Top siders

The top siders, destined once for yachts, have a light corrugated sole, lacing for 4 holes and a decorative edging. They are perfectly combined with the popular maritime style. This spring it is better to give preference to the top-siders of bright neon or pastel colors.

Creepers

Now these low-laced shoes with a very thick sole are going through a peak of popularity, almost as in the 90s. True, in contrast to that time, preference is given to bright models or decorated with prints.

Dorse

Dorset - feminine shoes, which have only a toe and heel, while the arch of the foot remains open. A great option for summer shoes for those who must comply with a strict dress code at work, even in summer.

Espadrilles

In the summer of 2014, as well as in several previous warm seasons, espadrilles will be especially popular - shoes on jute soles. They can be both with a heel, and without, the top is often fabric, and the colors are cheerful.
