The choice of carcass depends not only on the price factor, but also on a number of other circumstances. Let's look at all the details of choosing such a necessary type of decorative cosmetics.

1. Price

Here, in fact, the differences are small. And expensive mascara, and cheap can perfectly cope with their responsibilities. The main criterion for selecting ink is not price.

2. Packaging and shelf life

But this is the main criterion. First you need to look at the expiration date. Usually mascara can be used from 3 to 6 months, so if you buy a carcass left a month before the expiration date, then it is better not to take such a product. And the point is not that the mascara will be poorly colored, but that microbes will start to grow in it.

The second aspect to which attention should be paid is packaging. It should contain: composition (to exclude allergies), date of manufacture, manufacturer and type. By type, it is better to choose waterproof mascara, because even if no tears are foreseen, mascara can run out because of sweat.

3. Smell

Many girls believe that the brighter the smell of the carcass, the better it is. It is a myth. Mascara should not smell at all. If it smells, it means that there is poor-quality acetone, or too much of it.

4. Consistency

The consistency of cream mascara differs depending on the purpose of use. The scheme is as follows:

Very fluid - elongation

Thick - volume

Neither liquid nor thick - and lengthens (50%), and increases the volume (50%).

5. Brushes

Another important point - the choice of brushes, depending on the purpose of use. There are these types of brushes:

  • Silicone - perfect for separating eyelashes. Increasing the volume or length of the silicone brush should not be expected. It is better to use as an addition to other brushes.
  • With rare bristles, the only thing this brush is useful for is an increase in volume.
  • With spiral bristles - perfect for hard eyelashes.
  • Solid bristle - suitable for increasing the volume, but only for soft eyelashes.
  • Long seta - perfectly increases the volume and leaves a lot of mascara on the eyelashes.
  • Short seta - for short cilia or coloring the corners of the eyes.
  • Curved arc - "raise" the eyelashes, opening their eyes.
  • In the form of a spindle - give volume and tint the corners of the eyes.
  • Long stubble on the edges - "raises" the eyelashes and gives them shape.
  • Thick brushes with villi of different lengths - ideal for separating and thoroughly coloring the eyelashes.

That's all the key points of choice carcasses. If you use these tips, then you will never have problems with poor-quality ink.
