Today, despite the lack of time, even very busy women can pamper their family with homemade salted tomatoes. The secret is simple: tomatoes are salted in ordinary plastic bags.

Salting time depends on the recipe, and takes from 2 hours to 2 days. So, we stock up on packages, tomatoes and a minimum set of additional ingredients, and proceed to the production of lightly salted tomatoes according to quick recipes.

Salted tomatoes in a bag - general principles

There is nothing complicated, you will need:

• Tomatoes. It is better to take ripe red fruits of a small size, they are better salted, or cherry tomatoes. Tomatoes are thoroughly washed, an incision is made at the stalk.

• Greens, herbs. Use any to taste, usually dill, parsley, cherry leaves, currants. Greens, like the tomatoes themselves, need to be thoroughly washed.

• Garlic, chili pepper. They lay it down if they want to make the tomatoes sharp. Quantity depends on individual preference.

• Salt, sugar.

• In addition, you can put peppers, cucumbers and other components.

• Package. It is better to take a strong package, because during salting it will be necessary to shake it periodically. If there are no durable bags, it is recommended to put the bag with tomatoes in one or two bags.

When everything is prepared, it remains only to fold the products in polyethylene and put aside for a while.

1. Salted tomatoes in packages: a quick recipe

Ingredients:

• 8 medium tomatoes;

• 40 g of salt;

• garlic - 3 cloves;

• dill (with umbrellas) - 2 pcs.;

• fresh parsley - 4 branches.

Cooking method:

1. Wash the tomatoes, dry them slightly, gently wiping them with a dry, clean cloth.

2. Use a sharp knife to cut the stem.

3. On the other side of the tomatoes, make a small incision in the form of a cross (this will help the tomatoes to salt out faster).

4. Peel the garlic, cut into small cubes. If you want lightly salted tomatoes to turn out a little sharper, take more garlic. Do not like spicy - do not use this ingredient.

5. Wash the dill and parsley, dry.

6. Take two thick plastic bags and put in each one dill umbrella and 2 sprigs of parsley.

7. Add prepared tomatoes and garlic.

8. Pour salt, sugar into the bags and tie the bag firmly so that there is enough free space inside.

9. Gently shake the bags so that all the contents mix well and leave them on the table for 60 minutes.

10. For an hour of pickling, approach the tomatoes every 15 minutes and gently shake.

11. After an hour, put the tomatoes from the bags in a deep plate, leave them in the refrigerator under the lid for several hours.

2. Salted tomatoes in a package: a quick recipe with bell pepper

Ingredients:

• medium-sized tomatoes - 8-10 pcs.;

• sweet pepper pod;

• half the head of garlic;

• one bunch of fresh dill and parsley;

• 35 g of sugar and salt.

And to give salted tomatoes more flavor, add a pinch of Provence herbs, for example, rosemary, sage, oregano. For mild acuity - a pinch of mustard seeds, black and red pepper on the floor of a teaspoon. And also 2 leaves of fresh mint and 2 branches of lemon balm.

Cooking method:

1. Before salting, wash the tomatoes and peppers and put them on a towel to dry.

2. Cut the stalk of the tomato.

3. For bell pepper, also cut the stem, remove the seeds, cut into strips.

4. Wash the peeled garlic cloves, cut into halves.

5. As in the first recipe, make incisions in the shape of a cross on tomatoes.

6. Put the tomatoes and peppers in a plastic bag.

7. Add to them washed parsley with dill, leaves of mint and lemon balm.

8. Pour salt, sugar, mustard seeds, Provence herbs, black and red pepper into the bag. If you do not have ground red pepper, then put a pod of chili pepper, only before doing this, wash it, cut and take out the seeds.

9. Shake the bag well, tie it tightly, put in a warm place for 48 hours.

10. During salting, do not forget to periodically shake the bag.

11. Put the prepared salted tomatoes with pepper on a plate, put in the refrigerator to cool.

3. Salted tomatoes in a package: a quick recipe with cucumbers

Ingredients:

• 6 medium red tomatoes;

• 6 medium cucumbers;

• 2 pods of sweet pepper;

• garlic - 5 cloves;

• salt - 15 g;

• sugar - 10 g;

• half a bunch of different greens;

• 2 branches of carrot tops.

Cooking method:

1. Prepare the vegetables: wash them, lay them on a clean cloth to dry. On the tomatoes, make incisions in the form of a cross. Cut off the tips of cucumbers. For bell peppers, cut the stalk, take out the seeds and cut into circles.

2. Arrange the tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers in two clean plastic bags.

3. Peel the garlic, cut into slices and add to the bags.

4. Dill, rinse parsley, chop and pour into bags.

5. Wash the tops and put them in their bags.

6. Pour in salt, sugar, tie packages tightly and shake a little so that all contents mix well.

7. Pack bags of tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers in the refrigerator for 5 hours, and preferably all night.

8. At the end of this time, put the tomatoes with cucumbers and peppers in a metal container and leave them under the lid for a couple of hours, so that the juice that has stood out thoroughly soaks all the vegetables.

9. Put the prepared tomatoes in a bag with cucumbers and peppers on a serving plate and serve. In no case do not store tomatoes in a bag, because they can become too salted and crumpled.

4. Salted cherry tomatoes in a package: a quick recipe with garlic

Ingredients:

• 1 kilogram of ripe cherry tomatoes;

• half a bunch of dill greens;

• garlic - 4 cloves;

• 15 g of salt;

• 10 g of sugar.

Cooking method:

1. Wash the cherry tomatoes, make small punctures at the base.

2. Wash the dill and chop.

3. Free the garlic from the husks and chop in the garlic (if there is no garlic, just chop the knife with small crumbs).

4. Put all the prepared ingredients in a plastic bag, add salt, sugar, if you want, add some spices or herbs.

5. Shake the bag well, tie it tightly and leave it on the table for 3 hours.

6. Salted cherry tomatoes, transfer from the bag onto a plate, cool a little in the refrigerator and serve.

5. Salted tomatoes in an Armenian package: a quick recipe

Ingredients:

• 10 kg of ripe tomatoes;

• a little more than a kilogram of sweet pepper;

• chilli peppers - 7 pcs.;

• garlic - 16 cloves;

• dill umbrellas - 4 pcs.;

• 3 small horseradish roots;

• 5 leaves of currant and cherry;

• salt - 150 g;

• sugar - 80 g;

• parsley - 5 branches for decoration.

Also prepare another 15 clean plastic bags to lay out all the necessary ingredients.

Cooking method:

1. Before salting, rinse all ingredients under running water, dry slightly.

2. For tomatoes, cut the stalk and make a few punctures with a fork. For sweet pepper, remove the stem with the seeds, cut into rings.

3. Cut the horseradish root into several small parts. Tear the leaves of currants and cherries with your hands into arbitrary pieces.

4. Peel and slice the garlic.

5. Divide the dill umbrellas by inflorescences.

6. Remove the seeds from the chili and cut into circles.

7. In each plastic bag, put a little horseradish, currant and cherry leaves, a little dill inflorescences.

8. Arrange the tomatoes, slices of sweet pepper and chili, as well as a little chopped horseradish root.

9. Pour two pinches of salt and sugar into each bag.

10. Leave the bags on the table for several hours.

11. Put ready salted spicy tomatoes on a portioned dish, serve.

6. Salted tomatoes in a package: a quick recipe with vinegar

Ingredients:

• 8 small red tomatoes;

• salt - 3 teaspoons;

• head of garlic;

• acetic acid - 30 ml;

• dill greens - half a bouquet.

If you wish, you can also take a pinch of various spices and dry herbs, for example, basil, turmeric and others.

Cooking method:

1. Rinse the red tomatoes, put them on a clean cloth to dry slightly.

2. Wash the dill, dry on a paper towel and chop finely.

3. Peel the garlic, cut into slices.

4. Each tomato is slightly cut with a knife, so that when salting they are better saturated with salt, vinegar and various spices.

5. Pour the chopped dill into a large cup, add the plates of garlic, pour in acetic acid, pour sugar, salt, mix thoroughly.

7. Put the tomatoes in a bag, tie well, shake, so that everything mixes well.

8. Put the package with all its contents in a dark place for 2 hours.

Salted Tomatoes in a Quick Recipe Package - Tips

• To make the tomatoes saline evenly, choose fruits of the same size.

• Do not tie the bag too tightly; there should be some space because the tomatoes produce juice during salting.

• The smaller the size of the tomatoes, the faster they will pickle. Focus on your chosen tomatoes.

• If your tomatoes turn out to be salted, just pour some more sugar in a bag, shake and remove for 15-20 minutes.

• No matter how tasty salted tomatoes are, you should not harvest them for future use, as their shelf life is short. The salting process is quick and easy, so you can cook your appetizer in small portions.
