The relationship of two country musicians - Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton - can safely be called exemplary. They have been married for 18 months, but they behave like newlyweds. In a recent interview with PEOPLE magazine, the couple shared a secret on how to maintain a relationship in bliss.
“We can't help but see each other for more than two weeks,” admitted Lambert, 28. But sometimes a break from the constant society of the spouse is a useful thing. Otherwise, "we can kill each other," says 36-year-old Shelton.
Given the busy schedule of both musicians, Lambert considered that together, from the day of their marriage (in May 2011), they spent only 150 days - this is about three months.
And this is not surprising, a musical career is very important for both. Miranda Lambert has won many awards, including the Grammy Awards, Academy of Country Music Awards. Her last four albums have become No. 1 in TOP country style albums.
Three Blake Shelton albums went gold on sales ratings. And the single "Austin" in 2001 took 1st place among country songs in the prestigious American Billboard chart.
And at the upcoming CMA Awards this Thursday, each of the musicians is nominated for four awards.
